Limmat: The start is in waves. Participants divide themselves into starting blocks on site according to instructions from the Obstacle Run crew. If a starting block is full, you must start from the next starting block. The starting blocks start at seven-minute intervals over a period of approximately 70 minutes.
We recommend that ambitious and faster participants position themselves at the front in the first starting blocks. We also ask slower participants and those who are mainly participating for fun not to occupy the front positions.
We ask all participants to be considerate of each other. There are no claims to specific starting blocks or positions.

Aare: The start is located on the track in the Tissot Velodrome. Four participants start at a time at intervals of a few seconds.

A team consists of at least three people. For the team category ranking, the three fastest net times of the team are added together. All team members must enter the same team name during registration so that the assignment can be made (pay attention to capitalization).
If additional people are to be added to an existing team, they can register via individual registration. It is important to provide the identical team name. Team assignment is based on the team name.

All children must specify the same school class (name of school, class) so that the assignment can be made. A school class consists of at least eight students. For the school class ranking, the five fastest net times of the team are added together.
If additional students want to start for an already registered school class, they can register via individual registration and specify the corresponding school class (name of school, class). These students will then automatically be added to the corresponding school class ranking.

Lost items can be handed in at the valuables deposit. After the event, they will be kept at invents! for two months: obstaclerun@invents.ch.

Our events are only possible thanks to the help of numerous STAFF who support us at the event as well as before and after. You can find more information here: STAFF

Are there refreshment stations at the Obstacle Run?
There are several refreshment stations on the course as well as finish refreshments.

What shoes/clothing should I wear?
The Obstacle Run can be completed with normal running shoes. Spikes are prohibited in the competition. It is best to wear light clothing. Dress according to the weather.

Can I wear a costume?
Yes, of course! The most important thing in this race is to have fun and reach the finish line. If you feel most comfortable in a Borat costume, then don’t hesitate to wear it.

How is the time measured?
Timing is done with a chip integrated into the bib number. The net time is measured, which means: your “personal” start signal occurs when you cross the start line individually (net time). The time is stopped just before the finish obstacle so you can enjoy your finish jump without stress.

Therefore, the first to finish is not necessarily the winner of their category. The online ranking is continuously updated and the winners are only definitively determined when all participants in the corresponding category have finished.

How can I participate in the Team Run?
The team ranking is for at least three participants who must provide the identically written team name during registration. Participants can also be added to the team gradually during registration; only the same team name must be provided. The number of participants per team is unlimited.
